December 15, 2007
Clinical hypnotherapist Dr Michael Deninger, best known for his hypnosis work with the deaf, returns to the Clerc Center this week after 15 years and we look forward to hearing about his work there in his role as interim dean.
61 year old Michael Deninger is a clinical hypnotherapist with the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists as well as a professional, licensed counselor and a certified master in NLP. He holds a Master of Arts in mental health counseling as well as a PhD in special education administration. Michael runs his own Hypnotherapy practice, Phoenix Counseling and Hypnotherapy, and prefers to be known as Dr Mike.
In the Hypnotherapy world, Dr Mike is probably best known for his work with deaf clients and in particular developing the first technique for using Hypnotherapy in conjunction with the American Sign Language for the deaf. Hypnosis techniques for the deaf are fairly well developed but there are few hypnotherapist who work in this area.
Whilst working as interim dean, Dr Mike will also be working on his autobiography.
