Practical Case Studies of Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy
December 22, 2007
While writing one of our earlier articles, we came across some case studies on using hypnosis and psychotherapy to treat some emotional or mental symptoms, rather than physical.
The case studies include:
A man plagued by an image of an acquaintance, who had committed suicide. Incidentally, this man refused to believe he had been hypnotized
A middle-aged doctor who suffered from tactual images and feelings
A teacher who, so obsessed with the idea of getting pregnant, had never been in a relationship
A lawyer who felt completely sapped of energy after a period of overwork
A writer experiencing writers block and depression
These case studies demonstrate how hypnotherapy and psychotherapy can combine in a variety of situations.
