Obesity To Reach 12m Adults By 2010
March 14, 2008
Obesity has been the government’s hot topic for months now and a recently published government report made some rather scary predictions. It stated that by 2010 they predict that over 12 million adults and more than 1 million children will be classed as obese.
This means that hypnotherapists should expect to see a substantial increase in the number of requests they receive for weight loss, obesity and eating disorder assistance. As a hypnotherapist, weight loss is already one of my own key areas.
On hypnosis courses, weight loss can only be dealt with as a small part of the course and many courses do not have the time to focus on eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia. This is why I believe that more institutions and training companies should be focusing on offering continuing professional development (CPD) courses.
The Contemporary College of Therapeutic Studies has decided to try a one day Obesity & Eating Disorders workshop because it’s the course they are asked for most. Their first one will be on Saturday 12th July at Birkbeck College, London at the special price of just £100 plus VAT.

Nice picture of Adam there.
