Hypnotherapy Eating Disorders Workshop

In July, hypnotherapist Richard Reid is running a short, one day workshop on eating disorders, especially for counsellors, hypnotherapists and psychotherapists. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in an area that covers quite a wide variety of issues such as anorexia, bulimia and other eating disorders.

The course will cover how individuals develop their relationship with food, diagnosis, building rapport specifically with people with eating disorders, assessment techniques, readiness for change, intervention and preventing relapse.

Richard Reid has worked in counselling and Hypnotherapy for many years, in particular with the National Centre for Eating Disorders and he specialises in this area.

The course will run from 10am – 5pm at Birkbeck College in Central London, on Saturday 12th July. You can book online through the Contemporary College website. It’s competitively priced at £100 + VAT, which isn’t bad when you consider how difficult it can be to gain expertise in such a challenging yet rewarding area.
