Hypnotherapist Asks: Heart Attack For Christmas, Anyone?
December 21, 2007
According to hypnotherapist Tom Nicoli, a diet is the worst plan to have for the New Year. For many of us, the Christmas holiday is the perfect excuse to over indulge in fatty, high calorie foods and alcohol and stretch our credit cards to the limit. Add to that the usual stressful family arguments and last minute running round, and it’s no surprise that studies show December has the largest number of heart attacks with a peak on New Year’s Day.
Losing weight is becoming an urgent priority for Britain as we follow America in the trend towards obesity. Barely a day goes by without obesity, increased diabetes and high blood pressure making the news in one form or another.
Yet despite this urgent need to lose weight and get fitted, weight loss expert Tom Nicoli insists that a diet is not the best way. We need to make long term, maintainable changes to our lifestyle and the only way to do that is begin with our minds, to deal with our subconscious levels to ensure that we can see these changes as positive and to stop us fighting with inbuilt habits and neurological patterns built up over our lifetime.
Self-hypnosis CD’s can work for many, or if you feel you need a more personalized session, then you can visit your local, qualified hypnotherapist. Hypnotherapy is a relatively quick treatment and some weight loss programs can take effect after only one or two sessions.
