Hypnosis: What If I Don’t Wake Up?
December 11, 2007
Hypnosis is not sleep, nor is it a coma, so technically the term shouldn’t be ‘wake up’, although that is how it is normally referred to when the hypnotherapist brings the client out of trance. You enter a hypnotic trance several times a day naturally and you always return to your normal state. See ‘Hypnotherapy? ..Could I Lose Control?’
What if your alarm clock didn’t go off in the morning? You would still wake up. Similarly, if something happened to the hypnotherapist so they couldn’t end the session, you would end it when you were ready.
You can come out of hypnosis whenever you want.
