How To Use Your Unconscious To Get What You Want
February 10, 2008
If you want to be, have or do something, or if you want to change something about yourself, here’s how to do it!
All you have to do is ask. Ask yourself!
Your unconscious mind works very differently to your conscious. Imagine that your conscious mind is the captain of a boat. Think of your unconscious mind as the crew that keeps the boat going, gets it to where you want it to go, maintains all the functions and systems and obeying your commands.
You have to make sure you ask for what you really want, so that your crew can get it for you.
Your mind is incredibly powerful. It controls everything you do, from your breathing, moving, bodily functions, keeping you alive and kicking, so you can trust it with anything as its sole purpose is your survival.
When you ask it for something or focus on an appropriate question, your unconscious starts to focus on making that a reality for you. It’s almost a form of self-hypnosis. Be careful to direct your energy where you want to go. You can ask out loud or in your head. Phrase it clearly and properly. Repeat it often. You could write it down somewhere where you’ll see it every day. Be consistent. Be careful your question contains no presuppositions, it must be clear. Don’t say ‘Why can’t I get what I want?’ or ‘Why am I struggling?’. Instead, ask ‘How can I get what I want?’ or ‘How can I make more money?’
Make your questions positive. Did I mention you must be clear? Positive, clear questions will come to fruition sooner than later. The only question is then, ‘How soon will it be achieved?’
