All good hypnotherapists know that it can be challenging to get results using a purely scripted, generic hypnosis session. This is why most hypnotherapists offer a free, no obligation consultation so they can have a little time to tailor their session for the individual.
This is why a lot of self-hypnosis CD’s cannot work for everyone. For example, even something as generic as a stress or relaxation session may not work if the induction includes lots of water scenes or guided imagery and you happen to have a phobia of water.
