Case Study: Hypnotherapy & Depression
December 21, 2007
This is a case study of a lady who had suffered from depression since 1979. In 1999, after hearing a talk on the benefits of hypnosis, Mrs N decided to try hypnotherapy and booked an initial appointment with hypnotherapist Maureen Harrison.
Mrs N’s case history and a description of the two hypnotherapy sessions she received are described online. Having felt much better after the first session, she almost cancelled the second session but was pleased to have taken it.
Maureen Harrison originally trained as a nurse in the NHS but has been working as a hypnotherapist in Country Durham for almost ten years now. Her interest was sparked when she used hypnotherapy herself to give up smoking.
