Building Your Hypnotherapy Practice: Need Help To Find Clients?
December 5, 2007
Starting a Hypnotherapy practice is hard work. Being the best at your craft is just not good enough, it could still take years to get enough clients. One of the downsides of such a fast working treatment like Hypnotherapy is that you generally only see a client between one and six sessions so you need to generate new business.
When you ask round, you’ll get many different recommendations: use pay per click like Google Adwords, leaflets, referrals, but none of these methods alone will generate the number of clients you need each month.
Bernadette Doyle runs a site giving tips on how to attract clients. In particular, her biggest single tip is to use a strong call to action. This means making sure that you give people a reason to respond now, even if they don’t want an appointment right now. You could give away a freebie so you can get their name, address and other details to build a good prospect database for following up later.
One hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, Jane, asked Bernadette how she could increase her business and you can read her response here.
Bernadette runs Client Magnets and offers a free e-course especially for complementary therapists such as hypnotherapists.
